**Incumbent Democrat Lucy McBath faces Republican Kevin Martin in Georgia’s 6th congressional district on November 3, 2026.** McBath won her May 19 Democratic primary unopposed at 100% and holds a strongly Democratic-leaning Atlanta suburb and exurb seat she carried by roughly 75% in 2024. Martin secured the Republican nomination with about 70% in his primary. Georgia’s majority-vote rule for U.S. House seats triggers a runoff only if no candidate reaches 50% plus one on Election Day. Given the district’s partisan lean, McBath’s incumbency, and the absence of a high-profile challenger or late-breaking event, traders assign a 92.5% probability that one candidate—almost certainly McBath—secures an outright majority in the first round. No major developments since the May primaries have altered this assessment.
