This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded by NOAA at the Toronto Pearson Intl Airport Station in degrees Celsius on 23 Aug '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the highest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=cyyz To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C. This market can not resolve until the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.Persistent cloud cover and a 40% chance of showers have positioned Environment Canada’s official 21°C high forecast as the key benchmark for Toronto on August 23, yet recent model consensus and trader assessment favor a peak near 19°C. Reduced solar insolation under overcast skies limits daytime warming, keeping surface temperatures below seasonal normals around 23–25°C for late August. Light winds and high humidity further moderate extremes, with humidex values near 25°C offering little additional heat. Historical data show August daily highs averaging 23–24°C, but current steering patterns and short-term guidance indicate cooler realization. New observational updates from Pearson International Airport and revised model runs will determine final resolution as the day progresses.
