Recent Swedish opinion polls ahead of the September 2026 parliamentary election show the Social Democrats leading on roughly 30-32 percent, followed by the Sweden Democrats near 20 percent and the Moderates around 17 percent, leaving a tight cluster of smaller parties—Left Party, Greens, Centre Party and Christian Democrats—each polling between 6 and 8 percent. This narrow band drives the market for fifth place, where traders price the Left Party highest, followed closely by the Greens and Centre, with the Christian Democrats a step behind. The Liberals remain well below the four-percent threshold, while larger blocs face their own bloc-formation pressures. Any modest swing in voter support among these mid-tier parties or shifts in turnout could reorder the ranking before election day.
