Recent polling trends show Die Linke competitive at 18–22% in Berlin, translating to projected seat totals clustered around the 20–34 range under the 5% threshold and proportional allocation rules for the 130-seat Abgeordnetenhaus. This positioning stems from sustained emphasis on housing affordability, social spending, and urban infrastructure priorities, which have lifted the party above its prior 12% result while AfD, CDU, and Greens remain within a few points. The narrow spread across those four parties creates volatility in final seat math, as small shifts in turnout or preference flows among younger and urban voters can alter remainders and overhang. Coalition arithmetic and late-campaign positioning on cost-of-living measures remain the main variables that could push Linke above or below the current market clusters before the September 20 vote.
