**Forecast models indicate a minimum temperature in Helsinki on September 6 most likely between 7–9°C, driven by northwesterly winds advecting cooler maritime air and clear overnight conditions promoting radiative cooling.** Official guidance from the Finnish Meteorological Institute and ensembles such as those underlying Yr.no and Foreca show daytime highs of 15–17°C falling to lows near 8°C under partly cloudy skies with moderate northwest flow. Historical climatology places the September 6 average low at 10.8°C, so current conditions represent a modest negative anomaly. Model spread arises mainly from differences in predicted wind speeds and boundary-layer cloud cover, which affect the magnitude of nocturnal cooling; stronger winds or increased low-level moisture would limit the drop, while lighter winds and clearer skies could push readings toward 5–6°C. Traders price the tight cluster around 8°C highest because it aligns with the consensus of latest model runs, while the notable probability on 14°C+ reflects residual uncertainty in how quickly the cooler air mass establishes itself overnight. New model updates and official FMI briefings on September 5–6 will be the key catalysts for any shifts.

The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the lowest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=efhk
If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source.
In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket.
To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C.
This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first.
The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market.
Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.
