**Recent model consensus from sources including GFS and official guidance points to a daytime maximum of 18–20 °C in Amsterdam on 5 September 2026, supporting the market’s heavy weighting toward 19 °C (53 %) and 20 °C (37 %).** Westerly winds of 15–18 mph (roughly 24–29 km/h) advect cooler maritime air across the North Sea while increasing cloud cover limits surface heating; current observations show morning temperatures climbing only into the mid-teens Celsius under partly cloudy skies. These conditions align with the long-term average high of ~20 °C for the date but fall short of warmer southerly-flow scenarios that would push readings into the low 20s. With the peak expected in the early afternoon and no significant model spread apparent in latest runs, trader sentiment remains anchored to the narrow 19–20 °C range pending final hourly observations.
