Recent ensemble forecasts from Taiwan's Central Weather Administration and international models indicate daytime highs in Taipei on September 7 likely peaking near 31–32°C, driven by the city's humid subtropical climate transitioning from peak summer. Persistent high humidity, northeasterly flow, and scattered showers or thunderstorms—common in early September with average highs of 30–31°C—limit extreme heating while preventing sharp cooling. Model consensus shows partly cloudy conditions with 50–70% rain chances, keeping maxima below late-summer peaks yet above cooler autumn baselines. This scientific setup, combined with low typhoon risk in the immediate window, underpins the 42% market-implied probability for 32°C as the leading outcome, with 31°C and 33°C reflecting residual forecast spread. Updated model runs and official briefings in the next 48 hours could refine these odds.
