Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.Singapore's equatorial climate and southwest monsoon patterns typically produce daily maxima near 31–32°C in early August, with high humidity and afternoon thundery showers that frequently limit peak readings. Current NEA guidance and model consensus forecast a high of 32°C for August 1 under scattered showers and southeasterly winds of 10–15 km/h, while El Niño conditions developing in mid-2026 are contributing to slightly warmer baseline temperatures across the region. This alignment of forecast data and climatological averages underpins the market's strong preference for 32°C at nearly 50% implied probability, followed by 31°C, with lower odds on extremes reflecting the narrow historical range and limited potential for significant deviation on this date.
