**Recent National Weather Service forecasts and supporting model runs position a high in the low-to-mid 70s as the most likely outcome for Seattle on August 31.** Official point forecasts from NWS Seattle show a daytime maximum near 74°F under mostly sunny skies, with northerly winds increasing to 10–15 mph in the afternoon—conditions that favor modest warming without significant marine influence or cloud cover suppressing temperatures. Multiple private forecasts align closely, projecting highs of 72–75°F, consistent with the historical average high of roughly 74.5°F for the date. Trader consensus reflected in the leading 74–75°F bin at 50.5% and the secondary 76–77°F at 28.5% captures this narrow range, while lower-probability outcomes account for possible model adjustments or localized variations before the final observation at Sea-Tac. The market will resolve to the official NOAA high recorded at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.
