Current forecast models from sources including Yr.no and the Met Office indicate a high near 22–25°C for Mexico City on September 6, driven by the city's 2,240-meter elevation and the ongoing rainy season that brings afternoon cloud cover and showers capable of limiting daytime heating. Historical September averages hover around 23–24°C, with recent early-month rainfall patterns—marked by localized flooding and fallen trees—reinforcing expectations of similar suppression rather than clear-sky warming. Trader-implied probabilities, heavily weighted toward 23–25°C, align with this consensus from ensemble guidance while assigning low odds to outliers above 26°C or below 22°C absent a rapid shift in steering patterns or moisture. Updated model runs and official Servicio Meteorológico Nacional briefings will provide the next key data points before resolution.
