Forecast models from agencies including AEMET indicate Madrid's maximum temperature on September 17 will likely reach 26°C under stable high pressure, light northeast winds, and partly cloudy skies that moderate solar heating. This aligns closely with the 1991–2020 climatological average high of 26.2°C for the date, following a cooling trend after earlier September peaks above 34°C. Low precipitation risk (under 5%) and modest humidity further support limited deviation, though afternoon clearing could push readings to 27°C in some model runs. Market-implied odds heavily favor 26°C at 64% and 27°C at 24%, reflecting trader consensus on these near-normal outcomes amid minimal forecast spread.
