Recent National Weather Service and model guidance for Los Angeles International Airport shows a high near 74–78 °F on September 18 under partly cloudy to sunny skies with southwest winds of 10–15 mph, consistent with the seasonal marine layer and typical onshore flow that moderates coastal temperatures. This aligns closely with the 1991–2020 climatological average high of 76.2 °F and recent observed values of 73–77 °F. Trader consensus has concentrated on the 76–77 °F bin as the implied probability leader because ensemble runs and local climatology favor this narrow range, with lower odds assigned to warmer or cooler bins given the absence of strong offshore winds or anomalous high pressure that could drive larger deviations. Updated model runs and official NWS forecasts over the next 48 hours remain the key near-term catalysts.
