Recent National Weather Service and model consensus forecasts indicate a high in the mid-70s for New York City on September 6, 2026, under mostly sunny skies with northeast winds limiting daytime warming. This positions the 76-77°F bin as the market leader at 52.5% implied probability, closely followed by 74-75°F at 27.5%, reflecting trader alignment with official guidance showing temperatures below the 79.5°F climatological average high. Persistent onshore flow and stable high pressure are the key atmospheric factors suppressing readings, with minimal model spread supporting the current odds ahead of final observations.
