**Brian Fitzpatrick, the Republican incumbent, holds a modest edge in the PA-01 House race against Democrat Bob Harvie, reflecting his established moderate profile and bipartisan record in a Bucks County-based district that leans slightly Democratic.** Harvie, a Bucks County commissioner who won the May Democratic primary decisively, benefits from endorsements including from Gov. Josh Shapiro and targets suburban voters on local issues. Nonpartisan ratings classify the seat as lean or likely Republican, consistent with recent polling that shows Fitzpatrick leading narrowly in head-to-head matchups. The outcome hinges on turnout in the Philadelphia suburbs and whether national midterm dynamics or Fitzpatrick’s cross-aisle work can sustain his advantage through November.
