Parliamentary elections to elect all 127 seats of the National Assembly of Quebec are scheduled to take place in Quebec on October 5, 2026. This market will resolve according to the candidate who wins the next Vanier-Les Rivières Quebec National Assembly election for a full term beginning in October 2026 or thereafter. If the election results are not known definitively by March 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be a consensus of credible reporting. In case of ambiguity, this market will resolve solely based on official election results as published by Elections Quebec (https://www.electionsquebec.qc.ca/).In the Vanier-Les Rivières riding, the Quebec general election scheduled for October 5 features a tight contest among several parties following the August 27 writ. CAQ candidate Françoise Faverjon-Fortin, succeeding retiring incumbent Mario Asselin, holds a modest lead in trader pricing over Conservative Patrick Paquet, with Parti Québécois candidate Stéphanie Martin and Liberal Charles Hudon trailing further behind. Provincial polling trends show the CAQ, Conservatives, and PQ running close in the Capitale-Nationale region, reflecting broader voter shifts away from the governing party and toward alternatives on issues such as taxes, healthcare access, and cost of living. Candidate announcements over the summer, including Paquet’s municipal background and Faverjon-Fortin’s business experience, have kept the race competitive without decisive separation. Late-campaign events or turnout variations among local voting blocs could still alter the outcome before polls close.
