Forecast models from sources including the South African Weather Service and global ensembles indicate clear skies and moderate southeasterly flow for Cape Town on September 6, supporting a daytime maximum near 25–27 °C through strong solar insolation and limited cloud cover. Trader consensus, reflected in the leading 26 °C (34.5 %) and 27 °C (27.5 %) implied probabilities, aligns with this guidance while acknowledging typical spring variability from the Benguela Current and orographic effects around Table Mountain. Minor model spreads arise from wind speed differences that could enhance or suppress afternoon warming by 1–2 °C. Updated SAWS guidance and final observational data tomorrow will resolve the market.
