Presidential elections in Bulgaria are expected to be held in the Fall of 2026. This market will resolve according to the listed candidate who wins the next presidential election in Bulgaria. This market includes any potential second round. If the result of this election isn't known by December 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, the market will resolve to "Other". This market will resolve based on the result of the election, as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the Bulgarian government, specifically the Central Election Commission (Centralna izbiratelna komisia, CEC) (www.cik.bg/).**Iliana Iotova holds a commanding lead in the October 25, 2026 Bulgarian presidential election market due to her incumbency as acting and then full president since Rumen Radev’s January 2026 resignation, combined with endorsements from Progressive Bulgaria, BSP–OL, and allied groups.** A July Global Metrics poll showed her with roughly 40% support when framed by party backing and around 50% personal backing, far ahead of Andrey Gyurov’s 13–23%. Recent developments reinforcing this include BSP’s unanimous August endorsement, Iotova’s September naming of Kiril Valchev as running mate, and the formal launch of her initiative committee. Gyurov, the former caretaker prime minister backed by PP–DB, remains the clearest alternative but shows limited crossover appeal. Other declared or potential candidates register minimal polling traction ahead of the first-round and possible November 1 runoff. Trader pricing reflects these structural and polling advantages with the vote six weeks away.
