Recent model runs from agencies including Spain’s AEMET and global ensembles indicate stable high pressure over the Iberian Peninsula, with light northeasterly winds and partly cloudy skies limiting daytime heating on September 17. These conditions align with the 1991–2020 climatological average high of 26.2 °C for the date, positioning 26 °C as the market favorite while supporting a secondary chance for 27 °C if insolation increases. Updated hourly guidance peaks near 26 °C in the late afternoon, with low humidity and negligible precipitation risk reinforcing trader consensus around this narrow range. No significant frontal passages or anomalous warmth are expected before resolution.
