The Trump Gold Card program, established by executive order in September 2025 and operational from December 2025, offers expedited EB-1 or EB-2 immigrant visas in exchange for a $1 million unrestricted gift to the Department of Commerce (or $2 million via corporate sponsor) plus a nonrefundable $15,000 processing fee. As of May 2026, official data showed only 338 petitions filed and 165 processing fees paid, with a single approval recorded amid ongoing legal questions over authority, priority dates, and concurrent filing. Full agency guidance emerged only in March 2026, while earlier projections of tens of thousands of issuances have not materialized. Trader consensus pricing the 1-100 range at 81.1% reflects these implementation barriers, slow vetting throughput, and competition from existing investor visa pathways through the remainder of the calendar year.
