Traders heavily favor a low of 56-59°F in San Francisco on September 19, aligning with National Weather Service guidance showing a strengthening marine layer and light westerly flow that promotes modest overnight cooling under partly cloudy skies. Recent Global Forecast System and European model runs converge near 57°F, consistent with mid-September climatology when the Northeast Pacific high typically suppresses extremes while allowing fog and stratus to moderate temperatures. Key variables include inversion strength and any subtle shifts in onshore wind patterns that could raise or lower minima by a degree or two. Updated NWS point forecasts and local mesonet observations tonight will provide the final inputs before market resolution.
