Official National Weather Service forecasts for Houston on September 6 project a high near 93°F under partly sunny skies, with showers and thunderstorms likely after midday driven by sea-breeze convergence and atmospheric instability. These convective elements introduce key uncertainty, as widespread or early storms could suppress the maximum into the upper 80s while isolated afternoon activity might permit readings in the low 90s. Climatological norms place the average high at 91°F, and current model consensus aligns closely with this range amid typical early-September humidity and weak steering flow. Trader positioning around 88–93°F reflects ongoing assessment of storm timing and intensity from the latest model runs.
