Traders assign a 99% implied probability to a 29°C high in Shanghai on September 13 due to consistent real-time observations and model consensus from agencies tracking northeast monsoon flow and partly cloudy conditions. Official hourly readings have peaked near this threshold amid typical early-autumn stability, with dew points and wind patterns suppressing further warming beyond seasonal baselines around 28–30°C. This positioning reflects aggregated trader assessment of verified station data rather than forecasts alone. A late surge from unexpected clear skies or model divergence could theoretically push readings to 30°C, though current atmospheric indicators make such an outcome highly unlikely before midnight local time.
