**Persistent hot and humid conditions across Karachi, driven by mostly sunny skies and light westerly winds, have produced daytime temperatures climbing toward 38–39°C, aligning trader consensus with a 40°C daily maximum.** Multiple forecast models, including those from regional meteorological sources, indicate a peak near or at this threshold under stable atmospheric patterns typical for mid-September, with dew points supporting high heat indices but minimal cloud interference or precipitation today. Historical climatology for the date shows average highs around 32°C, making the current anomaly consistent with recent seasonal warmth. The market-implied odds reflect this strong alignment of observational data and short-range guidance, though minor downward revisions could occur if late-day cooling or localized haze reduces the official recorded peak below the 40°C mark.
