Forecast models from the National Weather Service and other agencies project a high near 90–93°F in Houston on September 6, consistent with the seasonal average of 91°F and recent days near 92–94°F. Scattered showers and thunderstorms, driven by typical Gulf moisture and weak steering winds, are expected to develop in the afternoon, limiting peak heating while humidity keeps heat indices elevated. This consensus positions the 90–91°F and 92–93°F bins as market leaders, reflecting trader assessment of short-range guidance with limited model spread. No strong frontal passage or anomalous ridge is indicated to push temperatures outside the low-to-mid 90s before resolution tomorrow.
