Recent NWS and local model guidance for Denver on September 9 centers on a high near 84–88 °F under isolated afternoon thunderstorms, with ensembles showing modest spread from cloud cover, precipitation timing, and boundary-layer mixing. Persistent upper-level ridging supports above-normal warmth relative to the 81.5 °F climatological average, while southeasterly flow and residual moisture from earlier convection introduce cooling potential that narrows the difference between 82–83 °F and 84–85 °F bins. Traders weigh these variables against historical September variability and the limited remaining forecast updates before resolution.
