Recent polling ahead of Israel's October 27, 2026 Knesset election shows Shas consistently projected around seven seats, reflecting pressure on its traditional Sephardi ultra-Orthodox base from the ongoing Haredi draft debate and competition from Otzma Yehudit and Likud. Internal party efforts, including Aryeh Deri's reconciliation with key rabbis and campaign messaging on military service, have not yet stabilized support amid broader bloc volatility. Traders see multiple seat ranges as plausible because small shifts in Haredi turnout, Religious Zionist alliances, or last-minute voter movement could push results into lower or higher brackets, leaving the leading outcomes closely matched without a clear frontrunner.
