Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.Current ensemble forecasts for Moscow on August 3 point to a daily maximum near 25–27 °C, aligning with the tightly bunched market probabilities around those levels. This reflects typical early-August conditions driven by moderate subtropical air advection, peak seasonal insolation, and light winds under variable high pressure. Model spreads arise mainly from differences in predicted cloud cover and timing of any weak frontal passages, which can alter surface heating rates by 1–2 °C. Moscow’s urban heat island effect may add a small positive bias to official station readings, while climatological baselines place early-month highs around 22–24 °C. Updated model runs and satellite observations over the next 48 hours will likely refine the exact peak before resolution.
