Recent National Weather Service and model guidance for Denver on September 6 projects an overnight low near 63°F under partly cloudy skies with scattered thunderstorms possible, aligning closely with the market's tight clustering around 62–65°F outcomes. Thunderstorm timing and cloud cover will modulate radiative cooling rates after sunset, while southeasterly winds near 10–15 mph could limit further temperature drops by enhancing mixing in the boundary layer. Historical September climatology shows average lows around 53°F, but persistent above-normal warmth this week has kept current forecasts elevated. Final resolution hinges on official observations at Denver International Airport, where any earlier storm passage or clearer skies overnight could shift the minimum several degrees in either direction.
