Persistent southerly flow and high dew points near 70°F are sustaining elevated overnight lows across North Texas, with official guidance from NHC and local NWS offices pointing to minimum temperatures in the upper 70s to low 80s on September 7. Clear skies overnight will permit limited radiational cooling, yet the absence of a frontal passage or drier air mass keeps the forecast anchored well above the September climatological average low of 73°F. Model consensus shows little day-to-day change through the period, with heat indices remaining extreme during daytime hours. Traders are therefore pricing the 82–83°F bin slightly ahead while spreading probability across the 71–89°F range, reflecting uncertainty in exact boundary-layer mixing and any subtle wind shifts that could alter the overnight minimum by a few degrees before resolution.
