Current forecasts from the National Weather Service and supporting models project an overnight low in Dallas on September 5 near 80°F, with a range of upper 70s to low 80s under clear skies, light southerly flow, and high pressure maintaining warm, humid conditions typical of early September. This aligns with recent observations, including a 77°F low on September 4 and persistent triple-digit highs, without any incoming cold fronts or significant weather shifts. Trader emphasis on the 78–81°F bands reflects this model consensus and historical norms for the date, where average lows hover near 74°F but current patterns favor milder overnight cooling. Updated evening observations or minor forecast adjustments could still influence final resolution within these narrow bands.
