**Trader consensus heavily favors 78-79°F as the lowest temperature recorded in Miami on September 16, 2026, at 93.5% implied probability.** This reflects official observations from Miami International Airport (KMIA), the primary station used for such records, which logged a daily minimum of 79°F amid typical late-summer conditions. Highs reached 92°F under partly cloudy skies with scattered thunderstorms and light easterly winds, consistent with climatological norms where average lows hover near 77°F and recent Septembers have seen minima of 78-80°F. No anomalous cooling from fronts, heavy rain, or unusual cloud cover occurred to drive temperatures lower. Market-implied odds align closely with pre-event National Weather Service guidance projecting overnight lows in the upper 70s to low 80s. Realistic challenges remain limited to potential post-event data revisions, differences across secondary stations, or precise resolution criteria on measurement timing, though historical patterns and model consensus make significant shifts improbable.
