Trader consensus around 68–71°F for the September 13 Los Angeles low reflects National Weather Service guidance showing overnight temperatures settling in the upper 60s amid persistent marine layer influence and light onshore flow. Morning low clouds and fog, common in early fall, limit radiative cooling while southwest winds of 5–15 mph maintain mild conditions near the coast. Recent model runs indicate little change from the prior warm spell, with no strong high-pressure buildup or offshore flow to drive sharper drops. Historical September averages near 64°F provide context, yet current forecasts sit several degrees higher. Key variables for final resolution include exact fog clearance timing and localized urban heat effects, with updated NWS briefings expected to refine the range before midnight.
