Current National Weather Service and model consensus forecasts for San Francisco on September 14 point to mostly sunny conditions with a high near 70–75°F, driven by moderate onshore flow and a shallow marine layer typical of the region in mid-September. This aligns closely with the historical average high of 70.8°F and supports the market’s leading implied probability on 74–75°F. Light west to northwest winds and minimal cloud cover should limit further warming, though small forecast adjustments from updated model runs could shift the peak by a degree or two. Traders appear to be pricing in this stable pattern ahead of the day’s official observations.
