Latest forecast models from global ensembles show Beijing's overnight minimum on September 13 hovering near the 12–14 °C threshold, producing nearly even market-implied odds between “11 °C or below” and “14 °C.” Radiational cooling under clear skies and light northerly winds favors the lower end, while any increase in low-level moisture or cloud cover could hold temperatures a degree or two higher. Historical September climatology places typical minima around 15 °C, so the current cooler signal reflects a transient high-pressure ridge and reduced southerly flow. Updated runs from the European and American models, plus local CMA guidance expected overnight, will likely resolve the narrow spread before midnight local time.
