Emerson Nolasco Delgado of Podemos Perú holds the highest implied probability among listed contenders for the October 4, 2026 Huancayo mayoral election, followed by Angello Alberto Ocampo Gutiérrez of Acción Popular and Rony Paolo Vejarano Pérez of Batalla Perú. The fragmented field of more than twenty registered candidates, including Julio César De La Rosa Luján of Alianza para el Progreso, limits any single frontrunner’s consolidation of support. Online preference surveys have shown Nolasco ahead in recent months, yet legal proceedings alleging prior colusión have drawn scrutiny without altering his ballot status. Candidate challenges and tacha periods resolved in favor of most major lists, leaving a broad slate that sustains competitive pricing across the top options. No dominant polling average or late consolidation has emerged to shift the balance ahead of election day.
