NWS forecasts for September 19 point to a mostly sunny day with highs near 73°F in San Francisco, supporting the market's tight clustering around 70-73°F. Persistent onshore flow from the Pacific and a moderating marine layer keep temperatures from exceeding seasonal norms near 71°F, while variable cloud cover and southwest winds of 5-15 mph introduce uncertainty between the leading bins. Model runs show limited disagreement on maximum readings at official stations, with any brief clearing or slight pressure ridge strengthening the main variables that could shift outcomes toward 74°F or hold them at 68-69°F. Updated guidance ahead of the 24-hour window will clarify these thresholds.
