**Trader sentiment for Shenzhen’s September 5 lowest temperature centers on 26–27 °C, with market-implied probabilities of 66 % for 27 °C and 34.5 % for 26 °C.** These levels reflect current forecast consensus from multiple meteorological sources showing overnight minima in the mid-20s Celsius under typical early-September subtropical conditions. Persistent cloud cover, elevated humidity (often 80–90 %), and light winds limit radiative cooling overnight, keeping temperatures from falling sharply. Historical September averages place daily lows near 24–25 °C, but recent model runs and real-time observations indicate slightly warmer conditions, with forecasts commonly citing 25–27 °C as the expected range. No strong cold-air advection or clear-sky radiative cooling events are projected for the date, reducing the likelihood of readings at or below 25 °C. Upcoming hourly updates from agencies such as the China Meteorological Administration or local Shenzhen observations will provide the final recorded minimum; any late-model shifts toward greater clearing or higher dew-point suppression could nudge probabilities, though current data strongly favor the 26–27 °C band.

The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the lowest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=zgsz
If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source.
In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket.
To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C.
This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first.
The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market.
Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.
