Current National Weather Service and model guidance for Los Angeles points to an overnight low in the upper 60s to low 70s on September 13, driven by persistent onshore flow, a moderate marine layer, and sea-surface temperatures several degrees above average that limit radiational cooling. These conditions favor a minimum near 68–70 °F at official stations such as LAX, aligning with the market’s tightest probabilities on the 68–69 °F and 70–71 °F bins. Stronger-than-normal subsidence or a deeper marine layer could push readings into the mid-60s, while clearer skies and lighter winds would support the upper end of the range. The day’s recorded minimum will be confirmed by final 24-hour observations, with little additional model spread expected before resolution.
