Latest National Weather Service and model guidance point to overnight lows in the mid-70s for Atlanta on September 1, driven by persistent high pressure, light easterly winds, and clear skies that limit radiational cooling under elevated dew points near 70°F. With highs forecast near 93–94°F, the diurnal range remains compressed compared to climatological averages around 69°F for the date. Traders appear to weigh the narrow spread between 72–75°F bins against minor uncertainties in boundary-layer mixing and any last-minute model adjustments ahead of the 48-hour window. Historical analogs show occasional dips into the upper 60s only with stronger frontal passages absent here.
