Recent forecasts from Mexico’s Servicio Meteorológico Nacional and numerical models show a mostly cloudy pattern with scattered showers for September 8, moderating daytime heating in the high-altitude capital. Maximum temperatures are expected near 22–23 °C, consistent with climatological September averages of 22–24 °C, as persistent cloud cover and light precipitation reduce solar insolation and evaporative cooling effects. Slight model spread in the timing of any afternoon clearing keeps 24 °C within reach while capping odds for 25 °C or higher. Updated runs from GFS and ECMWF ahead of the date will refine the precise peak and confirm whether conditions trend toward the current market leaders at 23–24 °C.
