Recent polar air intrusion has driven sharp overnight cooling across central Argentina, with Buenos Aires minima near 3–4 °C on September 6–7. Ensemble forecasts from global and regional models now show gradual moderation by September 8, with consensus overnight lows centered around 6–9 °C under light northerly flow and clear to partly cloudy skies. This positioning explains the near-equal implied probabilities clustered at 7–12 °C while the elevated 49.5 % odds on 3 °C or below capture residual tail risk from model spread or a slower warm-air advection. Updated Servicio Meteorológico Nacional guidance and the next ECMWF/GFS runs will be the key near-term catalysts ahead of the overnight minimum.
