**Strong marine influence and post-heatwave onshore flow are anchoring LAX station forecasts near 81–82°F for August 30, 2026, producing the market’s heavy weighting toward the 82–83°F bin (58%).** National Weather Service point forecasts for Los Angeles International Airport explicitly project a daily maximum near 81°F under sunny skies, with the 137 AM PDT issuance listing an 82°F high for the LAX zone. This reflects increased onshore flow and marine-layer effects that cap coastal temperatures after mid-week highs exceeded 90°F. Ensemble model agreement is tight on this moderation, though minor variations in sea-breeze timing or boundary-layer mixing could still shift the peak across adjacent bins (80–81°F or 84–85°F). Downtown and inland areas are expected to reach the mid-to-upper 80s, but resolution depends solely on the official NOAA LAX observation. With resolution imminent and no major forecast shifts in the latest runs, trader consensus has consolidated around the low-80s range.
