Official National Weather Service observations recorded a daily maximum of 93°F at Denver’s primary climate station on August 29, 2026—eight degrees above the 1991–2020 normal—driving the 100% market-implied probability for the 92–93°F outcome. This reading, taken at 2:36 PM MDT under mostly clear skies with light winds, aligns with surface data from Denver International Airport and matches preliminary climatological summaries issued the same evening. Historical context shows August highs near 85–87°F on average, so the observed value fits a warm but unexceptional late-summer pattern without triggering record thresholds. The only realistic challenges would involve a rare post-analysis revision by NWS or use of an alternate station network, both uncommon for finalized daily maximum temperatures once quality-controlled data are released.
