Lula maintains a commanding lead in Rio Grande do Norte first-round polling for the 2026 presidential election, with recent surveys from Quaest, AtlasIntel, and BG/Perfil placing him at 55-58% support against Flávio Bolsonaro at 19-28% and all other listed candidates in low single digits. This positioning reflects longstanding voter patterns in the Northeast state, where Lula secured over 62% in the 2022 first round and 65% in the runoff, backed by consistent PT organizational strength and regional economic priorities. With the October 4 first-round vote approaching, traders price in limited scope for late shifts absent major developments such as candidate withdrawals, new polling surges, or unforeseen events that could fragment the field.
