Strong summer demand and tight distillate inventories have limited downside, while record U.S. natural gas production and high storage levels exert less direct pressure on pump prices. With roughly three weeks remaining until month-end, traders are watching weekly EIA inventory reports, any shifts in WTI crude, and weather-driven demand for potential volatility. Seasonal easing typically begins in fall, yet current crack spreads and global oil market tightness suggest limited near-term relief absent major supply increases.
