Latest National Weather Service and model guidance for Denver point to a mild late-summer pattern with daytime highs centered near 80–82 °F, driving the market’s heaviest volume into the 80–81 °F and 82–83 °F bins. Key variables include the strength of high pressure aloft, which favors clear skies and efficient daytime heating, versus any increase in southeasterly flow that could enhance mixing or bring thin cloud cover and cap temperatures a degree or two lower. Ensemble spreads remain modest for a 24-hour forecast, yet small shifts in dew-point or boundary-layer wind can still swing the daily maximum across the 78–84 °F range. Traders are watching the next 12Z model runs and afternoon observations for confirmation before resolution.
