Current National Weather Service forecasts for Los Angeles indicate a Sunday night low in the mid-60s Fahrenheit, driven by a persistent marine layer with patchy coastal fog and light onshore flow that moderates overnight cooling. This setup aligns with climatological norms for mid-September, when typical minimums hover near 65°F absent strong Santa Ana winds or clear, dry air masses. Recent model consensus shows minimal day-to-day variability through the period, supporting the market's heaviest positioning on the 66-67°F bin as the most probable outcome while assigning lower probability to cooler or warmer extremes.
