Goldman Sachs holds the leading 56.5% market-implied probability for the lead underwriter role in Anthropic’s IPO, reflecting its established franchise in large technology offerings and recent positioning alongside Morgan Stanley following the company’s June 1, 2026 confidential S-1 filing. Reports indicate both banks were selected to lead the deal, with JPMorgan also involved and an October 2026 target date under consideration, creating uncertainty around which firm secures the lead-left position on the prospectus. This setup aligns with historical patterns in high-profile IPOs where co-lead mandates often precede final allocation of top billing based on deal economics and relationship strength. Traders are monitoring any updates on syndicate expansion or timing shifts that could alter implied odds ahead of potential pricing.

If no IPO occurs by December 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or Anthropic completes an initial public offering without a designated lead underwriter, this market will resolve to “Other.”
If multiple banks are identified as lead underwriters, this market will resolve according to the primary lead underwriter. If the hierarchy between them is unclear, this market will resolve once it is conclusively evident which bank is the primary lead underwriter, for example, through the order in which the banks are listed in the underwriting section of Anthropic’s final initial public offering prospectus, once released.
The primary resolution source for this market will be official disclosures from Anthropic. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
