**Current forecasts and the official Meteorological Service Singapore outlook position 32–34°C as the most likely range for Singapore’s maximum temperature on September 21.** Short-range models, including those from WeatherBug and other global ensembles, currently indicate a high near 32°C (90°F) under partly cloudy skies with a 30% chance of afternoon thundery showers. The fortnight outlook for 16–30 September notes prevailing southwest monsoon conditions with southeasterly or southwesterly winds, localized short-duration showers most afternoons, and daily maxima typically between 33–34°C, occasionally reaching 35°C. These values align with climatological norms: Singapore’s long-term September mean daily maximum is approximately 31.6°C, with afternoon convection and cloud cover usually capping extremes. Recent observations show daytime highs fluctuating between 31–34°C amid hazy, humid conditions (relative humidity 55–70%), consistent with the ongoing monsoon pattern. Trader-implied probabilities reflect this consensus, heavily favoring 32–34°C while assigning low odds to 35°C+ or sub-32°C outcomes, as model runs have not yet signaled significant deviations from the seasonal baseline. Updated official forecasts and refined model guidance in the next 48 hours will be the key near-term drivers.
