The closely contested TX-15 race stems from its status as one of few competitive South Texas districts, where recent polling shows Democratic nominee Bobby Pulido and Republican incumbent Monica De La Cruz separated by just a few points in head-to-head surveys. Primary outcomes, candidate fundraising, and local voter turnout patterns among key blocs have kept probabilities tight, with trader consensus reflecting uncertainty over which party will secure the seat in November 2026. Further separation could emerge from upcoming polls, campaign advertising volume, or shifts in national midterm dynamics that influence battleground turnout.
